Houston, TX — April 12, 2025, Naethaniel White was injured as the result of a hit-and-run accident at around 9:39 p.m. along Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Authorities said in their preliminary statements that the accident happened at the intersection of MLK Boulevard and Reed Road.
According to officials, 46-year-old Naethaniel White was on a Suzuki motorcycle going eastbound on Reed Road. Another vehicle was going northbound. At the intersection, the northbound vehicle collided with the motorcycle, then reportedly left the scene of the accident.
Due to the crash, Naethaniel White was seriously injured. There’s no information right now about whether or not the runaway driver has been found.

If authorities weren’t able to make progress with this accident, it would likely help if they could release more information to the public. A lot of the time hit-and-run drivers get caught, it’s because someone in the community or someone who personally knows the suspect sees something in the news and connects the dots. That helps to ensure not just accountability for the accident but possibly for things that driver may have been hiding from authorities to begin with. Even months after an accident, putting more information in the public eye can yield results.
