UPDATE (June 10, 2024): The woman who lost her life as a result of this accident has been identified as 24-year-old Mya Denise Robertson.
Houston, TX — March 31, 2024, a woman was killed following a single-car accident at approximately 1:30 a.m. along Greens Parkway.
According to authorities, a 24-year old woman was a passenger in a Lexus with a 24-year-old man traveling eastbound on Greens Road in the vicinity just east of the Air Center Boulevard intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the Lexus failed to safely maintain its lane of travel as it came upon a hill. It reportedly veered off of the roadway where it collided with a tree. The woman incurred suspected critical injuries as a result of the wreck; she was transported to an area medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive immediate treatment. However, she was ultimately unable to overcome the severity of her injuries, having there been declared deceased. No other injuries have been reported.
