Bell County, TX — March 5, 2024, one person was injured in a multi-vehicle truck accident at approximately 7:30 a.m. along State Highway 317.
According to authorities, a 47-year-old man was traveling in a southbound white Chevrolet Tahoe along S.H. 317 in the vicinity south of Prairie View Road when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the Tahoe was rear-ended by a southbound 18-wheeler with a trailer in tow. This caused the white Tahoe to be pushed forward into the back of a black Tahoe. The black Tahoe was, in turn, pushed into the back of Chevrolet Silverado.
The man from the white Tahoe incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck. He was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
