Miramar, FL — February 8, 2024, one person was injured in a multi-vehicle truck accident at approximately 8:30 a.m. along Florida’s Turnpike.
According to authorities, the accident took place in the southbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike in the vicinity of the Interstate 75 exit.
Officials indicate that an 18-wheeler overturned and caught fire during the incident. It is reported that up to six separate vehicles were involved in the incident. One victim apparently incurred injuries severe enough to merit being flown to an area hospital in order to receive immediate treatment. Four other victims, it is said, were evaluated for possible injuries at the scene of the accident.
