Beaumont, TX — February 1, 2024, one person was injured in a multi-vehicle truck accident sometime after 2:10 a.m. along Interstate 10.
According to authorities, a 28-year-old man was traveling in an eastbound Hyundai on Interstate 10 approaching a traffic jam that was the result of a previous crash when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the Hyundai collided with the side of a pickup truck and then crashed into the back of an 18-wheeler which had been at a stop due to the traffic conditions. Following that, an SUV reportedly struck the disabled Hyundai. The 28-year-old sustained injuries of unknown severity; he was transported to a local medical center by EMS in order to receive treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
