Houston, TX — May 18, 2024, one person was killed and another was injured in a multi-vehicle motorcycle accident at 12:50 p.m. on the Sam Houston Tollway.
According to authorities, the accident took place in the eastbound lanes of Beltway 8.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, several vehicles, at least one of which was a motorcycle, were involved in a collision. One of the victims suffered reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the wreck. Another victim apparently sustained injuries, as well, though preliminary reports don’t mention their severity.
