According to authorities, a 56-year-old man was traveling on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle on C.R. 284 in the vicinity northwest of Spring Creek Drive when the accident took place.
As the motorcycle entered a curve in the roadway, another vehicle—a Kenworth 18-wheeler—was coming around the curve in the opposing direction. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a collision took place between the two vehicles. The motorcyclist suffered reportedly severe injuries as a result of the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
