Austin, TX — June 15, 2024, a motorcyclist was injured in a hit-and-run car accident at approximately 11:30 p.m. along West Parmer Lane.
According to authorities, a man who had allegedly recently stolen beer from a convenience store was traveling in a motor vehicle along West Parmer Lane in the vicinity of the Lamar Road intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, the vehicle struck the motorcycle, causing the motorcycle to crash. The vehicle then fled the scene eastbound on West Parmer, then turning onto Scofield Farms Drive, the suspect failing to stop and render aid of any sort to the injured victim.
