McAllen, TX — March 30, 2025, a motorcyclist sustained injuries due to an apparent hit-and-run accident late Monday off McColl Road.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened along Thomas Drive just off McColl.
Investigators said that a motorcycle was going along the roadway when a pickup cut off the rider. This resulted in an accident, following which the pickup reportedly left the scene.
The motorcyclist reportedly sustained minor injuries due to the wreck. Right now, there is no available description for the runaway vehicle or suspect. Investigations are ongoing.

With any hit-and-run, the most helpful thing authorities could do is release as much information to the public as possible. Someone is often able to connect the dots and come forward with new information. Or, they could look at nearby businesses or residences to see if someone’s security camera happened to see the moments before, during, or after the accident. Either way, bringing a runaway driver to justice is often done with the help of the community. I see no reason right now why this incident would be an exception.
