Fort Bend County, TX — January 29, 2024, one person was injured in a car accident at approximately 9:00 p.m. along State Highway 6.
According to authorities, a 21-year-old man was traveling in an eastbound Honda Accord along McKaskle Road at the S.H. 6 intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the Honda failed to yield the right of way to highway traffic at the stop sign. It reportedly made a wide right turn into the left-most southbound lane of S.H. 6 at an unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the front left side of the Accord and a southbound Honda motorcycle occupied by a 24-year-old man.
The motorcyclist allegedly became separated from his vehicle during the course of the accident. He incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck and was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
