Bakersfield, CA — January 31, 2024, a motorcyclist was killed as the result of a big rig accident at around 12:57 p.m. along Bena Road.
Authorities said in their preliminary statements that the accident happened along Bena Road in the area of the Neumarkel Road intersection.
According to officials, a motorcyclist was on a Suzuki motorcycle, reportedly wearing their helmet, going along Bena Road. The motorcyclist reportedly slowed to make a left turn, but a big rig apparently slammed into the motorcyclist from behind.
