Hays County, TX — November 15, 2025, a motorcyclist was killed as the result of a car accident at around 8:00 p.m. along East US 290.
Officials said that the crash happened in the area of the US 290 and East Creek Drive intersection.
Investigators said that a motorcycle rider was going along the roadway when it and a car somehow crossed paths and collided. Due to this, the motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries. There were no other reported injuries.

With motorcycle wrecks, a concern to keep in mind is if authorities were thorough and avoided jumping to conclusions. A lot of people are negatively biased against motorcyclists. This can lead to shallow investigations based on assumptions rather than facts. I’ve had cases where it took more thorough independent investigations to secure evidence and correct mistaken crash reports. Maybe authorities here have been more careful, but it’s something people should keep in mind rather than just taking for granted the investigations will be handled properly.
