San Antonio, TX — November 9, 2023, a woman was injured as the result of a motorcycle accident at around 2:20 a.m. along Burnet Street.
Authorities said following preliminary investigations that the crash happened near the intersection of Burnet Street and Cherry Street.
According to officials, a 33-year-old woman was a passenger on a Yamaha motorcycle which was reportedly going eastbound on Burnet. The motorcycle apparently lost control after going over a railroad, and the woman was thrown from the bike. As a result, the woman had apparently serious injuries.
Authorities allege that the motorcycle operator was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. Due to the passenger’s injuries, authorities recommended that the driver be charged for intoxication assault. No further information about the crash is available right now.
