Leander, TX — July 15, 2024, one man was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle accident shortly after 12:00 midnight along Municipal Drive.
According to authorities, a man was traveling on a motorcycle on Municipal Drive in the vicinity between Northern Trail and Southwest Drive when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the motorcycle failed to safely maintain its lane of travel. It reportedly veered off of the side of the roadway and into a wooded area where it crashed. The man incurred reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and was declared deceased upon the arrival of emergency personnel.
