Galveston County, TX — November 16, 2023, two people sustained injuries as the result of a motorcycle accident at 7:47 p.m. along Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Authorities released initial public details about the crash, saying the accident happened in the area of the MLK Jr. Boulevard and Shady Lane intersection.
Officials said in their statements that two men, both 48 years old, were on a Kawasaki motorcycle that was going along Martin Luther King. Authorities believe the motorcycle was southbound when it went off the side of the road on a curve. The motorcycle crashed, ejecting both riders.
Authorities say that the operator of the motorcycle had incapacitating injuries while the passenger’s injuries were described as non-incapacitating. Right now, the cause of the crash can’t be confirmed without further information.
