How Did This Accident Occur?
People might be quick to assume the motorcycle rider was being reckless here. For those people, I’d like to know if that conclusion is based on any evidence or if that’s always the assumption anytime a motorcycle crashes. The reality is a lot of people unfairly blame motorcyclists for accidents before they’ve seen the facts. I’ve even had to correct police reports which wrongfully blamed motorcyclists because officers let their bias get in the way of a proper investigation.
So, regardless of what happened here, my hope is that investigations are thorough and fair. Otherwise, something important might slip through the cracks.
Is that fair, or does it not change how you think about motorcyclists? Share your thoughts in the comments?
