Hardin County, TX — September 15, 2025, one person was killed and two were hurt after a motorcycle accident around 9:00 p.m. along Business US 96.
According to initial details about the accident, the crash took place in the area of the Business US 96 and Old Beaumont Highway intersection south of Silsbee.
Investigators said that a motorcycle and a pickup were on southbound lanes of the highway. For reasons unclear, the vehicles crossed paths and collided. As a result, the motorcyclist was killed. Two people from the pickup reportedly had injuries.
At this time, the cause of the crash has not been confirmed.

With any motorcycle accident, there needs to be some confidence that investigations are being handled fairly. Unfortunately, a lot of people are negatively biased against motorcyclists. Even authorities will sometimes jump to conclusions rather than actually gather the facts. That’s why a lot of families decide they’d feel more comfortable with independent investigations. That way, they can be sure nothing is being overlooked just because the victim happened to be on two wheels instead of four.
