Fannin County, TX — August 6, 2025, a woman sustained injuries following a single-vehicle motorcycle accident at around 9:27 p.m. along FM 151.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened just east of Whitewright.
Investigators said that a 35-year-old woman was on a Yamaha motorcycle going northwest along Farm-to-Market 151. In a series of events unclear right now, the motorcycle lost control and crashed. As a result, the rider was seriously injured.
There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the crash. Additional details are unavailable.

With any motorcycle wreck, it’s important to ensure investigations were thorough and unbiased. Unfortunately, authorities sometimes give these crashes too little attention because they just see all motorcyclists as reckless drivers. At the end of the day, the facts need to speak for themselves. Jumping to conclusions is only going to risk blaming someone for something they couldn’t avoid, and that wouldn’t be right.
