Bowie County, TX — November 3, 2023, a woman was injured following a motorcycle accident at around 5:45 p.m. along Smith Road.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the accident happened in the area of the Smith Road and Hagler Lane intersection.
It appears that a 44-year-old woman was on a Honda motorcycle said to be going northbound along Smith Road. The motorcycle apparently drifted out of its lane before hitting a mailbox. This ejected the rider who landed in the roadway.
Due to the accident, the woman riding the motorcycle reportedly serious injuries. There were no other reported injuries. At this time, the cause of the crash cannot be confirmed without further investigations.
