How Did This Accident Occur?

People often see a motorcycle and jump to conclusions about the motorcyclist’s behavior. A lot of folks just assume all riders are reckless daredevils. I know from experience that a lot of motorcyclists are safe drivers who actually have to be careful because of all the larger vehicles pulling out in front of them or cutting over into their lane. Obviously, riders can make mistakes. I wouldn’t suggest overlooking that here. My point is that investigators should be covering all possibilities. If it ever seems like they’re not, that’s when it may be time for independent investigators to step in and fill in the blanks.
