Fort Worth, TX — December 12, 2025, a woman was killed as the result of a motel shooting that happened at 5:20 a.m. off Jacksboro Highway.
According to initial details about the accident, it took place outside of a motel located near the intersection of Jacksboro Highway and NW 18th Street.
Investigators said that a woman and a man were in the parking lot of a motel, reportedly attempting to recover a stolen vehicle. In the process, a shooting occurred with two other individuals. The woman was shot and killed.
Authorities say the two people involved in the shooting fled the scene. It does not appear any arrests have been made at this time.

I wonder if this motel has any cameras with a view of the parking lot. I bring this up mostly because video evidence tends to be time sensitive. It gets overwritten and deleted regularly, so the sooner investigators can preserve that evidence, the sooner it can be put to use to ensure there’s accountability for what happened here.
