Laredo, TX — January 7, 2024, a man was killed and Monica Ortiz Ceja was injured following a car accident at around 3:15 a.m. on Clark Boulevard.
According to initial details released about the accident, the crash occurred in the area of Clark Boulevard and India Avenue.
Investigators said that 43-year-old Monica Ortiz Ceja was a passenger in a Chevy Tahoe with a 33-year-old man behind the wheel. For reasons which cannot be confirmed at this time, the vehicle ended up losing control while going eastbound. This led to the vehicle crashing, ejecting the driver from the vehicle.
As a result of the accident, the unidentified driver of the Tahoe sustained fatal injuries. It appears Ortiz Ceja had possibly minor injuries. Currently, no further information about the crash is available.
