Dallas, TX — August 18, 2024, Moises Gonzalez Carruyo was injured following a motorcycle accident at around 3:34 a.m. along Dallas Parkway.
According to initial details released about the accident, it happened in the area of Keller Springs Road along the northbound side of the tollway.
Investigators said that 25-year-old Moises Gonzalez Carruyo was on a Kawasaki motorcycle going along the Dallas North Tollway. While exiting at Keller Springs, the motorcycle somehow lost control and crashed.
Gonzalez Carruyo reportedly sustained serious injuries due to the accident. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. No further information is available.

When it comes to motorcycle accidents, there’s an inherent concern that investigations may have been insufficient. People tend to be biased and just assume the rider was being reckless. That obviously happens, but the evidence should be allowed to speak for itself. Regardless of the events, if all of the focus is on one person’s actions and not the whole context of the accident, something important could slip through the cracks. The question remains, then, of whether or not this accident ever got the unbiased look it deserved.
