My concern in these situations is that a non-standard vehicle can sometimes cause issues with the investigations. In my experience, authorities already miss important details if they don’t have the right tools or experience, or if their supervisors decide there are better things they could be working on. That happens with typical car accidents, so it’s only more concerning when it’s an unusual vehicle officers rarely have to look into. Maybe nothing out of the ordinary happened here, but these circumstances make me wonder if authorities are even taking measures to know if there was something unusual they needed to investigate.
