Fort Bend County, TX — June 27, 2024, Mindy Ernst was injured as the result of a motorcycle accident at around 1:00 a.m. along F.M. 2218.
According to initial details, the accident happened in the area of F.M. 2218 and Powerline Road.

Investigators said in their preliminary statements that 32-year-old Mindy Ernst was on a Harley Davidson motorcycle going northbound along F.M. 2218. At Powerline Road, an animal was reportedly in the road, causing the motorcycle to lose control and crash. Ernst was seriously injured as a result.

However, authorities weren’t specific about the type of animal involved here. If this was just some wild animal, then this likely was an unavoidable accident.
