Accident Report

Panola County, TX — July 27, 2026, Larry Chadwick was killed in a truck accident just after 4 p.m. on F.M. 1970 north of Timpson.

A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 was heading south when it crashed into the back of a 1998 Mack semi-truck that was turning right into a private driveway.

Dodge driver Larry Michael “Mike” Chadwick, 79, died from injuries suffered in the crash, according to the report.

The truck driver was not hurt, the report states, but the 12-year-old boy riding with him had minor injuries.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Panola County crash at this time.
