Accident Report

Midland, TX — September 21, 2026, Miguel Rodriguez was killed in a car accident at about 4:15 p.m. on Interstate 20 Business.

Authorities said a westbound 2017 Toyota Tacoma hydroplaned in the rain as it slowed down because of an earlier accident near mile marker 311. It crashed into a 2026 Indian N26 motorcycle and a 2005 Nissan Frontier.

Motorcyclist Miguel H. Rodriguez, 40, of Odessa was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to authorities.

The pickup drivers were not injured, authorities said.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Midland County crash at this time.
