June 15, 2026, Miguel Raya was killed as the result of a car accident that took place at 6:40 p.m. along County Road 428.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the crash happened several miles northeast of Taylor in the Laneport area, just off County Road 494.
It appears that 64-year-old Miguel Angel Raya was a passenger in a GMC Sierra going southeast on CR-428. The vehicle somehow lost control, and it crashed. Reports say that Miguel Raya died as a result of the crash. The driver’s condition wasn’t confirmed.
