Houston, TX — November 12, 2023, a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run car accident just before 10:45 at night along Brittmoore Road.
According to reports, a 40-year-old male pedestrian had fallen to the ground for unconfirmed reasons between the center turn lane and the left of two northbound lanes of Brittmoore Road just south of the Brittmoore Park Drive intersection.
Allegedly, a vehicle of unknown make or model struck the pedestrian and left the scene of the accident without stopping to render aid of any kind. The man suffered fatal injuries as a result of the incident, having been declared deceased approximately an hour after the initial impact occurred.
The accident is under active investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reported to have been rainy and wet. Additional details pertaining to this incident—including the identity of the victim—are not available at this point in time.
