How Did This Accident Occur?

Did the SUV turn when it wasn’t safe? Was the Kenworth speeding? Was one driver distracted? Did any of the vehicles involved in this crash have an issue with their brakes or steering mechanism? Authorities should consider questions like this as they investigate this accident.

Investigators will pore over vehicle data, physical evidence, witness statements and any available video footage, while cell phone records could show what each driver was doing at the time. A forensic examination of the vehicles will be needed if authorities suspect a mechanical problem contributed to this crash.

The investigation should answer any lingering questions the Chrysler driver’s family has about this accident.
