Michelle Licona Injured in Car Accident in Houston, TX

Harris County, TX — July 13, 2025, Michelle Licona was injured as the result of a car accident at around 4:14 a.m. along Loop 610.

Authorities said in preliminary statements that the accident happened at the Loop 610 and Gulf Freeway interchange.

Investigators said that 20-year-old Michelle Licona was in an Acura going eastbound along the freeway. In events unclear, the Acura and another vehicle collided. That other vehicle left the scene.

Michelle Licona reportedly was seriously injured. Right now, additional details about the accident are unavailable.

It’s unclear if authorities ever located the runaway driver involved here. If they haven’t, it’s not too late to keep putting information out to the public in hopes someone comes forward. The community is one of the best tools for resolving hit-and-runs, as someone is bound to connect the dots eventually. Once that happens, steps can be taken to see there are consequences both for a driver leaving the scene and for what actions occurred leading up to the crash itself. Hopefully there are still efforts being made here to seek closure for those involved.
