Denton County, TX — October 18, 2024, Michael Villa and another person were injured in a car accident shortly before 9:15 p.m. along Destination Drive.
According to authorities, 42-year-old Michael Villa was traveling in a northeast bound Infiniti on Destination Drive at the Grove Lane intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a northbound Subaru Impreza on Grove Lane occupied by a 30-year-old man entered the intersection at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign. This reportedly led to a collision between the front-end of the Infiniti and the front-left side of the Impreza.
Reports state that Villa sustained serious injuries as a result of the wreck, while the man from the Impreza suffered moderate injuries. They were transported to local medical facilities in order to receive necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
