Rockwall, TX — December 21, 2023, Michael Garrison and two others were injured in a car accident at approximately 9:40 p.m. along S.H. 66.
According to reports, a Ford F-150 and a Honda SUV were stopped one behind the other for a red light on S.H. 66 at the Lakeshore intersection facing east when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, a Toyota Avalon occupied by 31-year-old Michael Garrison rear-ended the Honda; this collision pushed the Honda into the back of the pickup truck, as well. The 42-year-old man and 41-year-old woman who had been in the SUV incurred suspected minor injuries as a result of the accident. Garrison, however, reportedly sustained severe injuries due to the crash. All three were transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive appropriate treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
Weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reported to have been rainy and wet. There are not currently any additional details available pertaining to this incident. The investigation is ongoing.
