North Richland Hills, TX — December 27, 2023, a woman was killed following an alleged drunk driver accident at around 8:30 p.m. along Booth Calloway Road.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that they were called to the scene of a pedestrian versus motor vehicle accident. When they arrived, they found that a woman had been in the roadway when a driver, allegedly drunk at the time, struck and killed her. The victim has not yet been publicly identified.
The allegedly drunk driver is said to have been out on bond for a DWI charge that was filed just two weeks before this fatal collision. Authorities say that driver is now facing charges for second offense DWI and Intoxication Manslaughter. No further information is available at this time.
