Accident Report
July 2, 2026, Megan Petty and three others were injured following a car accident at around 3:00 p.m. along Alta Vista Court.
Initial details about the accident say that it happened jut north Brazos Bend at the intersection of Alta Vista Court/Little Road and Meander Road.
According to officials, a 42-year-old man and 38-year-old Megan Petty were in a Ford Expedition traveling northeast through the intersection. A Jeep Compass driven by a 49-year-old Evergreen, Colorado, man was going southeast. Authorities say that the Jeep ran the light, and the vehicles collided as a result.
Due to the crash, Megan Petty, the Colorado man, and a 48-year-old woman from the Jeep all had serious injuries, authorities said. A 20-year-old man from the Jeep had moderate injuries. No other injuries were confirmed.
At this time, authorities say they recommended charging the Jeep driver for disregarding the light. Additional details are unavailable at this time.
