How Did This Accident Occur?

The pickup driver was cited for passing in a no-passing zone after this accident, but that doesn’t mean he is to blame for the crash. What if the Ford had a problem with its brakes? Or what if the driver had a mechanical emergency? These are possibilities that authorities should consider as they investigate this accident.

Outside experts may be needed to confirm either of those other scenarios, if authorities suspect one of them was the cause of this crash, because of the specialized training needed to diagnose such problems, but the injured driver and his family deserve to know as much as possible about what caused this crash.
