How Did This Accident Occur?
When vehicles going the same direction collide, it’s often the result of inattention, distraction, following too closely, or unsafe speeds. Those are obviously important to investigate, but they’re far from the only important factors to consider. There may have even been unusual circumstances that a typical crash investigation isn’t likely to consider.
A vehicle defect, a medical condition, road hazards, or even a poorly thought out speed limit can lead to crashes. If investigations aren’t thorough enough to dig into all of that, something important can slip through the cracks. That’s why a lot of folks bring in a second set of eyes to look into these kinds of crashes. Even if they don’t reveal anything new, they can help assure victims and families they’re getting the full story.
