Authorities said in preliminary statements that the accident happened at the intersection of WW White Road and Holmgreen Road.
According to officials, 79-year-old Marshall Garnett was in a Chevy Silverado going southbound on WW White Road. A Freightliner truck was also going southbound. The vehicles somehow crossed paths and collided.
