Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
This soon after a crash, it’s not unusual for details to be scarce. Claims of possible speeding raise red flags, but that’s likely just one of many factors that need attention. Especially for the sake of the victim’s family, investigations should be thorough enough that even unlikely possible factors are examined closely. If nothing else, it’s important folks affected by a serious crash know they’re getting the whole story—especially if someone needs to be held accountable.
