Brazoria County, TX — April 12, 2024, Mark Guerra was injured following a car accident at approximately 5:15 p.m. along Bailey Avenue.
According to authorities, 52-year-old Mark Guerra was traveling in a westbound Lexus SUV on Bailey Avenue at the S.H. 288 southbound frontage road intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a southbound Buick Lacrosse on the frontage road failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign, entering the intersection at an apparently unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the front-left side of the Buick and the front-end of the Lexus.
Guerra suffered reportedly severe injuries as a result of the wreck. He was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
