Lubbock, TX — August 10, 2025, One person was killed following a car accident that occurred at around 3:22 P.M. on Quaker Avenue.
According to reports, an SUV operated by Mark Edens was traveling north on Quaker Avenue when it was struck by a passenger car at the 58th Street Intersection, causing the SUV to roll after impact.
When first responders arrived they found Edens fatally injured and pronounced him deceased, while the driver of the passenger car, as well as a passenger in Eden’s vehicle sustained minor injuries. Officials have not released an update on the status of the investigation at this time.
