Houston, TX — April 1, 2024, one person was killed following a pedestrian versus car accident at about 4:30 a.m. along North Loop 610.
According to authorities, a male pedestrian was on foot in the active lanes of North Loop 610 in the vicinity of Yale Street when the accident took place.
The cause of the collision remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the man was struck by a westbound Chevrolet Impala occupied by a 39-year-old man. The pedestrian incurred reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the accident and was declared deceased at the scene. No other injuries have been reported.
