Ellis County, TX — January 11, 2024, Marco Ivan Robles and one other were injured following a car accident at around 9:30 p.m. on Getzendaner Street.
Authorities said in preliminary statements on the crash that it happened off the corner of the North Getzendaner Street and Peters Street.
According to officials, 20-year-old Marco Ivan Robles was a passenger in a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 23-year-old man. The Jeep was going northeast along Getzendaner when it crossed over Peters Street, crashed into a pole off the side of the road, and flipped over.
Due to the accident, both Robles and the driver of the Jeep had apparently serious injuries. Factors surrounding the crash are not confirmed right now, and investigations into the accident are ongoing.
