El Paso, TX — June 18, 2026, Manuel Contreras was killed in a hit-and-run accident at about 11:30 p.m. on State Highway Loop 375.
Authorities said a vehicle was heading south near Pellicano Drive when it crashed into the back of a 2019 Nissan Sentra before the driver fled on foot.
Nissan driver Manuel Oliva Contreras, 76, of El Paso died after being transported to a local hospital, according to authorities.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the El Paso County crash at this time.
