Harris County, TX — January 25, 2024, Malcom Sallie and Kitty Webb were injured following a car accident at around 10:00 p.m. along Interstate 45.
Authorities said in their initial statements that the crash happened in the area of Springwoods Village Parkway on northbound lanes of the interstate.
It appears that 46-year-old Malcom Sallie was in an Oldsmobile going northbound on the North Freeway, and 59-year-old Kitty Webb was in a Toyota Camry, also going northbound. Details suggest Sallie’s vehicle somehow crashed into the barrier separating Exit 72 from the main lanes. The Oldsmobile then veered back into lanes of travel where Webb’s Toyota crashed into it.
As a result of the collision, Sallie had apparently serious injuries. Webb’s injuries weren’t confirmed and may have been minor, officials said. Right now, additional details about the crash are unavailable.
