Cass County, IA — December 16, 2023, Malak Singh was killed in a truck accident at about 3:50 in the afternoon along Interstate 80.
According to authorities, 29-year-old Malak Singh was traveling in an 18-wheeler on I-80 in the vicinity of the 770th Street overpass when the accident took place.
For unknown reasons, the 18-wheeler allegedly lost control, overturning onto its side and wrecking in the ditch on the north side of the interstate. Singh reportedly sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash; he was declared deceased at the scene.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were not reported on. There are not currently any additional details available pertaining to this incident.
