How Did This Accident Occur?
A pedestrian on a dark highway certainly raises some red flags. But until all of the facts are clear, it’s best to keep all possibilities open. For all anyone knows, the pedestrian was initially visible and avoidable. Or, maybe they were in the roadway due to some kind of emergency. Instead of jumping to conclusions, it’s always best to focus on gathering evidence, even if some possibilities may seem unlikely. My hope is that either authorities do that or otherwise put the accident in the hands of professionals who will.
