Accident Report
Alvarado, TX — May 12, 2026, Lydia Serrano was killed in a truck accident at about noon on Interstate 35W/Monarch Highway.
A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2017 Lincoln Continental was heading south when it crashed into the back of a 2007 International semi-truck near exit 27.
Lincoln driver Lydia Herrera Serrano, 74, died from injuries suffered in the crash, according to the report.
The truck driver was not injured, the report states.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Johnson County crash at this time.
How Did This Accident Occur?
