Jefferson County, TX — July 30, 2024, a pedestrian was injured as the result of a car accident that took place around 11:39 p.m. on US Highway 69.
According to officials, the accident happened off the corner of the northbound US 69 service road and Treadway Road intersection.
Investigators said that a 26-year-old Lumberton man was on foot at the time along the service road. While there, a northbound vehicle struck the man. This resulted in serious injuries.

People tend to overlook pedestrian accidents and assume it’s all about whether or not the pedestrian was in a crosswalk. That’s an important details, but it’s still just one of man.
