How Did This Accident Occur?
It would be easy to assume this crash was caused by a fatigued or careless rider, but I have been part of enough accident investigations to know that facts are always better than assumptions in figuring out how an accident happened.
Did another vehicle force the motorcycle off the road? Did the motorcycle have a mechanical problem that caused it to crash? Did the rider have a medical emergency? A thorough investigation should be able to address these questions and provide answers for the injured motorcyclist and his family. That could mean seeking independent experts who can examine the motorcycle and its rider to determine if a mechanical or medical issue contributed to the crash.
