Wichita County, TX — December 23, 2023, Luis Briones Vasquez was injured due to a single-vehicle car accident at around 5:30 a.m. on U.S. Highway 82.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the crash happened in the area of the U.S. 82/277 and Clyde Morgan Road intersection, west of Wichita Falls.
Investigators said that 20-year-old Luis Briones Vasquez was in a Chevy Silverado that was going westbound on U.S. Highway 82/277. For reasons which are not confirmed right now, the vehicle went off the right side of the road before it then veered left, went across the median, then crashed off the opposite lanes of travel.
Due to the accident, Briones Vasquez reportedly had serious injuries. There did not appear to be any other passengers or vehicles involved in the collision. No further information can be confirmed at this time without further investigations.
